2. Click Start->Run type “cmd /c assoc .zip=CompressedFolder” w/o the double quote and press enter

Be Active, Get Fit And Stay Healthy
1. For beginners the amount of cumulative activity time is more important than the specific type and manner of activity.
2. Everyday physical activity counts. Weaving – in more activities into your daily routines make you metabolically efficient. Day to day activities are cheap, convenient, easy-to-do and be done habitually.
3. To improve your cardiovascular endurance, you can choose to do aerobic exercise 3 to 5 times a week at least 30 to 40 minutes or longer a day. Doing it regularly also helps you loose and/or prevent weight gain.
4. Recreational activities are not only enjoyable but also healthy. If done regularly it can help you improve your physical fitness level.
5. Strength and flexibility activities are important for muscle toning. It also helps you burn some excess fat if you do it together with other activities.
6. Leisure activities are enjoyable too. It makes you burn some calories but is not advised as principal or main activity if your goal is weight reduction or improvement of cardiovascular endurance.
7. To make leisure activities or strength and flexibility activities effective for health, they have to be done often: at least 2 to 3 times a week 30 to 45 minutes or longer.
8. Activities that will burn the least calories should be avoided.
9. You will feel better, look younger, maintain healthy weight and live longer with regular physical cativities.

Fiber has the ability to propagate light launched into it with very low loss. In addition, virtually none of the light escapes the fiber along its walls, provided the recommended minimum bending radius specifications are not violated.
Fiber optics are generally constructed from a very pure form of glass, although some forms of low loss plastic fiber are currently under development. Signals used for transmission on fiber are generally in the red/infra-red range of the spectrum. This is because the materials currently being used for fiber manufacturing exhibit lowest losses in this range of wavelengths.
The ability of fiber to contain and propagate the light signal comes about from Snell’s Law of Refraction. Snell’s Law basically states that total internal reflection occurs for light travelling in a medium when it encounters a boundary to a medium of lower refractive index, at an angle greater than what is known as the critical angle. Fiber optic is manufactured in such a manner that the refractive index of the material is greatest in the center of the core and decreases towards the edges. Hence light travelling inside is totally reflected whenever it approaches the edges of the fiber.
The importance of not exceeding the fiber’s minimum recommended bending radius specifications can be seen. If this bending radius is exceeded, the critical angle criterion will not be met and some of the light will escape. This will manifest itself as a loss in the circuit. On long underground routes, it is important to ensure that if the fiber cable is directly buried, it is not placed under excessive stress by the fill material. Pressure from the fill material can cause localized sharp bends in the fiber cores. This can cause un-budgeted loss increases due to escaping light, to a point where the cable becomes unworkable. It then becomes a very expensive excercise to dig it up again to rectify it.

A lot of solutions I’ve read regarding on how to load pdo_pgsql with WAMPServer but the real and complete solution is to add the php path to the windows environment variables. You can disregard my previous post (here) on how did i do it. It was just a sort of experimentation but it really worked. Now here’s the real solution to the problem.
1. right click on my computer and select properties.
2. click on advance system settings
3. on the system properties window click “environment variables”
4. look for system variables frame and click “Path” variable
5. click the “edit” button
6. change the variable value by adding your php root path mine looks like this: %SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;%SystemRoot%\System32\Wbem;%SYSTEMROOT%\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\;C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\100\Tools\Binn\;C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\100\DTS\Binn\;c:\wamp\bin\php\php5.3.0\ I just added my php root path. 7. restart your wampserver and check mark the pdo_pgsql and php_pgsql extension using the wamp server menu or by editing your php.ini ; just remove the remark for the above extensions. and you’re done!

There are several ways on how to crimp RJ45 Twisted Pair Cable for networking. The T568B Standard color codes are the following:
Locate the PIN #1 of your RJ45 connector by facing the gold pins and pointing upward. The left most is the first PIN.
PIN # Color Code
1 White-Orange
2 Orange
3 White-Green
4 Blue
5 White-Blue
6 Green
7 White-Brown
8 Brown
The important thing to remember is PINS 1 & 2 are color paired and also PINS 3 & 6.

I have just received my first 100.30 U.S Dollar google adsense payment. I was so excited upon receiving a notice from google that the payment is already ready for pick up at our local Western Union Agent.
I’m suppose to treat my officemates with pancit canton and a slice bread from Manila Restaurant here in Park Mall Cebu City 😉 But it’s already 5 in the afternoon so I will just pay for our snacks tomorrow.
One of our officemates really loves pancit canton. He said, starting from his younger days, he really loves to eat this pancit at their neighbor’s cafeteria. It’s better to have it w/ a dugo-dugo 🙂 that’s a cebuano term, i can not find a word for that at this time. Anyway, i’ll try to talk about that dugo-dugo some other time 🙂

While at Bantayan, we stayed at Tickety Boo Resort. So nice and affordable rate. It is owned by a foreigner who got married with a filipina beauty.
